At Riherkush Global Events, the safety and wellbeing of our clients, guests, staff, and contractors is our paramount priority. We are committed to conducting all event operations in accordance with the highest safety standards and the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
2. Risk Management Protocol
Before any event commences, our production team conducts a comprehensive site assessment, including:
- Structural Integrity: Verifying the safety of stages, rigging, and temporary structures.
- Fire Safety: Ensuring clear emergency exits, accessible fire extinguishers, and adherence to venue capacity limits.
- Crowd Control: Implementing strategic crowd management plans to prevent overcrowding and ensure smooth ingress/egress.
3. On-Site Responsibilities
During the event, we enforce the following measures:
- Security Personnel: Deployment of licensed, professional security teams trained in conflict de-escalation and emergency response.
- First Aid: Provision of qualified medical staff and first aid stations at all high-capacity events.
- Incident Reporting: Any accidents, injuries, or near-miss incidents are recorded in an official log and addressed immediately by the lead Event Manager.
4. Compliance & Licensing
Riherkush ensures that all events are fully permitted. We strictly adhere to:
- Local authority regulations and noise control ordinances.
- National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) guidelines.
- Health and public safety standards regarding sanitation and food handling.
5. Continuous Training
We believe safety is an evolving discipline. All full-time staff and regular contractors undergo mandatory annual training on modern event safety protocols, emergency evacuation strategies, and basic life support awareness.
